Out of the Shell: Writing and Making Art Course run for the first time with poet and artist Annie Freud at Ty Newydd Writers' Centre, Wales, in October 2017.

Appealing to both beginners and experienced practitioners, this course will stimulate creative work across and between the arts, integrating painting, drawing and collage with poetry, prose, fiction and life-writing. The aim of this verbal and visual cross-genre approach is to achieve greater, deeper expression and wholeness, to liberate your authentic inner voice. Workshops, films, talks and readings will fill your days and evenings, with plenty of time to work on your projects alone as well as in one-to-ones with the tutors in addition.
